Good Health Pass Collaborative Partnership
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Good Health Pass Collaborative (GHPC) and for your commitment to privacy protecting, user-controlled, globally interoperable, and universally accepted digital health credentials.
ID2020, along with leading companies and organizations in the technology, health, and travel sectors, have come together to create the GHPC — an open, inclusive, cross-sector initiative to create a blueprint for interoperable digital health credentials to help restore global travel and restart the global economy.
As a collaborative effort of global partners, GHPC is taking an approach that is holistic, open, and inclusive. No government, company or agency can solve this challenge alone. Setting the future course of “good” digital health credentials and navigating the associated risks is a challenge that requires sustained, multi-sectoral partnership. GHPC’s core partners have a longstanding belief in such collaboration.
GHPC is not intended to supplant existing efforts in digital health credential solutions, but rather to help weave them together and facilitate cooperation. By identifying the various areas where convergence around open standards is required – and filling gaps where they exist – the aim of GHPC is to provide the structure and coherence necessary for these ongoing efforts to fulfill their promise.
GHPC Core Partners
GHPC invites the participation of policymakers, civil society organizations, government representatives, companies in the health, technology, and travel sectors, and others who share our commitment to restoring international travel while ensuring that equity, privacy, and other civil liberties are protected. Participation in the GHPC is open to all partners aligned with the principles outlined above and in our white paper: Good Health Pass: A Safe Path to Global Reopening.
Our governance model is deliberately designed to reflect our commitment to accessibility, inclusivity, and genuine collaboration, ensuring that no single sector or institution dominates the conversation or monopolizes the activities and outputs of the Collaborative. We believe that GHPC’s maximal global impact will only be realized through cooperation across sectors and amongst direct competitors.
Our tiered model is intended to ensure that partnering organizations can contribute at a level appropriate to their interest, expertise, and capabilities. GHPC is committed to open standards and organizational transparency. While our core partners have helped shape the organization’s foundational principles, GHPC is designed to prevent the development of monopolies and/or vendor lock-in.
